Floating Support is a community based service which is available people who have or are experiencing abuse or violence. In addition to addressing the housing related need we aim to develop skills and confidence through emotional or practical support to live as independently as possible. Read more
All of our courses at the centre are designed to support you to move forward, with confidence in your life. All of our courses are run by our team of experienced domestic abuse specialist who understand the dynamics of 'Power and Control' which underpins all unhealthy and abusive relationships. Read more
We understand that sometimes speaking to someone over the phone is easier than in person. Maybe you can not leave the house or you are limited on time. To help we offer a telephone support service so that you can speak to someone when the time is right for you. Read more
Some people believe that a problem shared is a problem halved. Why not test the theory by coming in to speak to one of our support workers? This type of support is an ideal introduction into our services, especially if you are unsure which service will best meet your needs. Read more
Domestic abuse can have a considerable impact on a persons health and well-being. The effects can result in long-term chronic health problems such as high blood pressure, insomnia and eating disorders, to name a few.
