Better Greener Project

The Better Greener Project is a new programme delivered to people over the age of 25 who are economically inactive. Greenstream Flooring CIC, is running this programme to residents from Rhondda Cynon Taff.  In a supportive and person-centred environment, participants will have the chance to learn more and receive hand-on experience of reuse and recycling as well receiving personal relevant one-to-one support in areas appropriate to their personal situation.

The first session (5^th July) will include;

Managing Money – This session is aimed on supporting people living on a limited Income,  looking at how to make finances go further is at the heart of this session

The Value of Reuse – Linked to the above this is about the environmental and financial benefit of using re-used/ second-life materials and where locally they can be purchased and the support that is available.

Morning Two (Thursday 7^th July 10am – 1pm)

Will include

The value of work experience/volunteering – This session is all about informing and encouraging participants to gain confidence via volunteering locally  helping them to gain or regain confidence in their value through work  and or volunteering and looking  at equality and stereotyping issues .
