Charity of the year 2023

In early 2023, RCT domestic abuse services were invited to meet the team at Little Inspirations day nursey. Working closely with families within the local community the team at Little Inspirations were already aware of the impact of domestic violence and the devastating affect it has on families and children. The team wanted to develop a greater understanding of the services available to support families and develop closer working links with our charity. Following the meeting Little Inspirations Day Nursey decided to choose RCT domestic abuse service as their charity of the year.

The team at Little Inspirations, immediately began planning their fundraising activities. Over the year many activities were held and included;

  • an Easter raffle
  • a Summer fete
  • a Christmas raffle
  • anniversary ball and auction

Throughout the year, the teams enthusiasm, hard work and passion toward their fundraising efforts continued and with the support of the team, families, the local community and local businesses the team were able to make an outstanding donation to our charity.

Emma Williams, Development Manager at RCT domestic abuse services said
