For most of us Christmas is a special time spent with those we love, unfortunately this is not the case for those families living their daily lives in fear of violence and abuse. Last year our charity supported 170 individuals throughout December. These included 28 children living in refuge and 18 children and young people who were receiving support within the community.

Previous years

Each year, we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our local community which has supported us to be able to provide a gift for each child and woman we support. Donations through fundraising have enabled us to hold Christmas lunch events, Christmas parties and even arrange a visit to refuge from the big man himself!

How you can help

Help us bring a sprinkle of Christmas magic to those we support over the festive period by

Donating a children’s gift

We except new toys for children of all ages. As we cannot predict who we will be supporting over the period (some families arrive on Christmas Eve) therefore we cannot specify ages.

Donate a gift for a woman

We except new, unopened gifts for women for example toiletry sets, nightwear (all sizes), candles etc.

Donate a food item

We except donations of nonperishable Christmas food for example boxes of chocolates, mince pies, nuts, tinned foods and pasta.

How to donate an item

We are excepting gifts at our main office in Pontypridd which is open Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm and ask that donations reach us before Friday 14th December to allow us to be able to distribute before Christmas.

Alternatively you can donate via our online Christmas appeal
