As a result of the Covid – 19 pandemic we have had to alter the way we can offer support.

Although our refuges have remained open throughout this difficult time, our other services have needed to adapt to be able to support everyone in a safe way.

We are now pleased to announce that we are currently transitioning our team back, by opening two of our offices in Aberdare and Rhondda as follows;

Our main office, based in Aberdare town centre, on Victoria square will open Monday – Friday, between 10am – 4pm.

Support available will include pre-booked appointments and telephone support.

For more information please call, 01443 400791

The Safer Rhondda centre, based in Tonypandy, on Dunraven Street will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am – 3pm.

Support available will include pre-booked appointments and telephone support.

For more information on this centre please call, 01443 561460

Pre booked appointments

To ensure the safety of our team and those we support we ask that anyone attending a pre booked appointment follow the Government Guidelines on monitoring your health and the signs and symptoms of Covid 19 and those around you. If you are symptomatic please follow the Government guidelines and stay at home.

Inside the building attendees will be expected to follow the social distancing measures that have been implemented following a full risk assessment of all sites.

Courses (Freedom, Recovery etc)

For the next few months our courses will continue to be delivered via ‘Zoom’. Currently, the sessions are working well online and we are achieving excellent results.

We are still offering a wide variety of courses so get in touch.

You can book yourself or someone onto a course in the following ways
